Merry Christmas 2013

Merry Christmas!  We are out for vacation and I promise I am going to catch up on my blogging.  I could not let today pass without saying Merry Christmas.  I am so blessed with my hubby, my kids, family, friends, and a career I adore.  A few years back I started taking head shots while on our Marine Science Center field trip.  I print them in black & white and modge podge them on canvas frames.  They are amazing!  Since you can't see them take a look at these cutie pies.  What a great looking group of chickens.  Hope your Christmas was as relaxing as mine and see you soon.

Marine Science Center

Ponce Inlet is home to one of my favorite places, the Marine Science Center.  We LOVE this field trip! We get to see native animals, see how they rehabilitate injured animals, and learn about how we can better take care of our local beaches.  It is educational and oh so much fun.  Thank you to the fabulous parents that chaperoned.  After learning we took some time to have lunch and then a quick walk out to the jetty.  It was a BEAUTIFUL day! I think I wore them out because you can see Juliana in the video sleeping on the bus ride back to school.  Thank you Mrs. C, Mrs. Lisa, Mrs. Alice, Mrs. Summer, Mr. Dennis, Mrs. Danielle, Mrs. Gina, Mrs. Amanda, Mr. Carlo, Mr. Billy, & Mrs. Tasha for helping.  We appreciate your time and hope you had as much fun as we did!

Marine Science Center field trip

The Marine Science Center is such a fabulous place to visit and we learn so much there!  We learned about reptiles, turtles, taking care of the beaches, stingrays, and how they rescue birds.  The highlights included see the owl, touching the stingrays, and even touching a real anaconda snakeskin.  To learn more about the science center click this link. Enjoy the pictures.  We had the best time ever!
