 Jack Hartmann is just fab-u-lous! I just love to see the firsties dance and sing and have the best time ever!

 Jack makes songs to help with reading, math, and even science.  We even exercise to his music. WOW he is so good on his guitar!

Today was THE day!  No not April Fool's Day, I mean yes it was that but that wasn't the best part of the day.  Jack Hartmann came to CCE today and boy was it FUN!  He was too sweet and even posed for a class picture today.  Sorry Reese and Christopher were out.  Reese had a fever but we know how much you wanted to be there.  We sang for you.  Check out the class pic.

Yes, you see a gator on my head.  You should have seen Jack's face when I mentioned I was a HUGE Seminole fan.  Yes I took it in stride and it was Jack Hartmann and we all know how very important and talented he is! So speaking of April Fool's…I gave everyone a red today and there were some surprised faces.  They didn't know I used remind101 to tell their parents, "Everyone was on red today!  Happy April Fool's Day!"  Too funny.  I even got texts and phone calls from parents.  Sure hope no one got in trouble.  Wonder what the next 46 days will bring...

The day finally came-the Jack Hartmann concert!  We were so excited to see him sing his songs and we were going to dance our socks off.  I just love getting up on stage and watching my firsties and their faces-priceless!  Check out the video.

Another year with one of our favorite people-Jack Hartmann.  For those of you scratching your heads let me explain.  We listen to Jack everyday.  We sing his songs and dance.  All the while we learn about so many things.  We stretch words to hear sounds, excercise and count to 100, activate both sides of our brains while we crossover, and so much more.  Our Kindergarten and 1st graders look forward to this trip each year.  I even danced on stage this year. I am the one in the middle with the BIG smile!Thank you for so much fun!

Friday was a highlight for our class. That is me with our favorite singer, Jack Hartmann! We have been singing Jack Hartmann songs throughout the year. We sing about word families, skip counting, making shapes, you name it and Jack has a song for just about every literacy or math skill imaginable. A few months back we emailed Jack to request a few favorites. Our class was thrilled when we heard back from his representatives. We practiced the Hip Hop Tooty Ta, Chicken Count, and One Small Voice and knew them all by heart. He performed PowWow and we were so excited because that was our #1 request! Thank you so much Jack! Take a look at our awesome pictures of the Tooty Ta and the bus ride. One classmate summed it all up, "This is the best day in my whole life!"
